Nordel is a neighborhood located in North Delta, British Columbia. North Delta is a middle-class suburban commuter community in Surrey, which is situated in the Lower Mainland region and part of the area known as the Corporation of Delta. It is formed of several neighborhoods, each with its own unique flavor and residential charm.
Borders and Attraction
Nordel is bordered by Highway 91, 112th Street, 72nd Avenue and the Frasier River. All major routes are accessible from the community, which is only 20 minutes from the U.S. border. It features breathtaking vistas of natural beauty and offers many amenities as well as a prime location.
Housing in the area ranges from small traditional homes to planned developments with charming townhouses to huge custom luxury houses. It is a family-oriented community with a small-town appeal. Four more ice rinks are located at the Planet Ice-Delta facility.
If outdoor recreation is your preference, the Delta Nature Reserve offers a world-renowned park that features Burns Bog, the largest raised peat bog on the continent. The boardwalk here offers excellent opportunities for hiking, biking and observing local wildlife. Outside of the rec center, people can use McKitrick Park’s running trail or picnic area and enjoy a public garden.
